Opto Telelinks was incorporated in 1993 to supply the communication Equipments for the Indian PTT mainly in the Optical Communications. Opto Telelinks diversified in to a Digital Radio Network Provider for Indian PTT by the year 1994-95. With this Opto Telelinks became one of the biggest vendors for Indian PTT in the select communication product.

In the later years Opto Telelinks become one of the first Internet Service Providers in India through its sister concern Opto Network Private limited (http://www.optonetwork.com) in the year 1999. In the meantime Opto Telelinks concentrated on development of Voice over IP Technology from the year 1999 onwards and became one of the suppliers to supply the infrastructure and Technology to various vendors in Europe and USA. After developing a range of VoIP Gateways Opto Telelinks also developed Billing systems for the wholesale traffic, Calling Card Technology using the state of the art centralized systems.

Besides developing the Billing and calling card Technology Opto Telelinks also developed the Virtual Billing and calling card Technology so that it can share the infrastructure with many service providers at the same time increasing the revenues. In the year 2003 Opto Telelinks developed the Call center technology using soft-switch based concept with various dialers, CRM systems, Voice loggers, Predictive systems etc., It is most successful in setting up of infrastructure to various Call center operations in India. Its call center products are most competitive and state of the art in comparison to any technology available for the operations.
